You could say variety is the name of the game in HR and that is one of the reasons why I enjoy my role so much.
As HR Operations Manager, I am responsible for the Personnel and Learning and Development teams. This is a busy and demanding role providing advice, guidance and support to key stakeholders in all aspects of employee relations, performance and talent management. I am also responsible for managing the provision of management development and operational learning and development opportunities for everyone.
A typical day involves balancing the challenges of various projects and committees whilst supporting our stakeholders in delivering key business goals and handling challenging and often sensitive issues. Providing advice and support to the Executive team, Managers and staff and also supporting the HR Divisional Director in delivering our People Strategy are all key responsibilities of mine.
