West Brom Building Society unveils modern and inclusive new uniform for branch colleagues

West Brom Building Society has unveiled a modern and inclusive new uniform for colleagues across its branch network, marking the latest step in the Society's ongoing investment in its people, branches and local communities.

Developed following feedback from colleagues and customers, the new range provides greater choice, comfort and flexibility while creating a consistent and welcoming experience for customers visiting any of the Society’s 34 branch locations.

The range includes smart polo shirts, branded knitwear, open-collar shirts and blouses, alongside chinos, tailored trousers, skirts and dresses. Soft-structured blazers, cardigans and lightweight jackets also provide additional options throughout the year.

A key focus of the uniform is inclusivity. Colleagues can choose from a wider range of styles and fits, ensuring the uniform is suitable for individual needs, helping colleagues feel more confident and comfortable at work, whilst continuing to deliver high standards of service.

The uniform forms part of the West Brom's ongoing investment into its branches and colleague experience. Following its brand refresh, the West Brom has updated its branch literature and customer communications to create a more consistent, modern in-branch experience.

Over the last year, the Society also opened six community rooms within its branch network, providing free space for local groups and organisations to meet, with regular community sessions taking place. The new uniform is the latest step in ensuring the Society’s branches reflect a modern, welcoming and community-focused experience for customers.

Shaine Jones, Head of Branches at West Brom Building Society, said: "We've listened closely to feedback from our branch teams throughout the process, and their views have helped shape the final range. The new uniform gives colleagues more choice and flexibility, creating a modern and inclusive range that supports different styles, preferences and ways of working.

"Over recent years, we've refreshed our brand and invested in community spaces across our network. Introducing a new uniform was a natural next step in ensuring every part of the branch experience reflects who we are as a modern mutual.

"Our colleagues are at the heart of what we do, and it's important they feel comfortable, confident and able to be themselves while representing the West Brom in our branches and communities."
