Umar joined the Society as a Customer Service Advisor over 3 years ago. Following a lot of hard work and training, Umar quickly progressed up the ladder. Umar is now a Personal Mortgage Consultant and helps guide people through the process of buying their own home.

Sophie started working for the Society over 10 years ago and believes that the West Brom has supported her from both a professional and personal perspective through various life changes. Now Head of Performance and Development, Sophie has a CIPD qualification and is able to work around other life commitments - working to a flexible 4 day week.

Poonam has come a long way since her first role in the Mortgage Retention Team over 10 years ago. Following a successful secondment, Poonam moved to our IT Department and is now a Business Support Analyst, working flexibly to achieve a healthy work-life balance.

Elliot was the first apprentice here at the West Brom in 2013 and has since progressed to Project Lead in our Business Change Division. Having had both training opportunities and the support of other colleagues, Elliot feels that the West Brom has helped build the foundations for his career.

Charlotte started out as a Customer Service Advisor and with the support of various development opportunities, soon progressed to a role at Head Office. Charlotte now works in Learning and Development and is responsible for training all the new starters joining the Branch Network.

Aisha - Safety and Security Administrator

Aisha joined the Society as an apprentice within our Corporate Facilities Team when she was just 19 years old. Upon completing her studies, Aisha secured a permanent role as Safety and Security Administrator. Striving to learn more, Aisha's development does not stop there, as she's receiving further training in both Coaching and Health and Safety.
