Representative example

A mortgage of £25,000 payable over 20 years initially on a fixed rate for two years at 2.49% and then on our current standard variable rate of 4.49% (variable) for the remaining 18 years would require an initial payment of £185.22, 22 monthly payments of £132.35 and 217 monthly payments of £155.68.

The total amount payable would be £36,978.48 made up of the loan amount plus interest (£11,877.26) and a completion fee (£99).

The overall cost for comparison is 4.2% APRC representative.
