What's the Employee Council?

The Employee Council brings together colleagues from different areas with a wide range of backgrounds, experiences and perspectives, because we know better decisions are made when different viewpoints are heard. Since then, it’s become a valued part of how we make decisions and listen to voices across the Society.

By providing a direct link to the Society’s senior leaders and Board, the Council helps bring the colleague voice into important discussions and decisions. Whether discussing new ideas, key priorities or upcoming initiatives, Council members share valuable perspectives that help us better understand what matters to colleagues and help shape the future of the West Brom.

What's involved?

Employee Council members attend meetings three times a year at our Head Office in West Bromwich to:

  • Take part in discussions that help drive positive change,
  • Share feedback on ideas, initiatives and proposals,
  • Help influence decisions and improvements across the Society,
  • Meet and collaborate with colleagues from a diverse range of backgrounds,
  • Help senior leaders and the Board understand what's important to colleagues.
