Customer Panel terms and conditions

The Customer Panel

The Panel will consist of a cross section of customers who agree on a voluntary basis to provide feedback about the West Brom and its products and services. The Panel is just one way we listen to your views, we also hold regular Members' ViewPoint events and every qualifying member is also invited to attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Qualifying Criteria

In order to be able to join the Panel you must be a current West Brom savings or mortgage customer and be aged 16 or over. You must also have a valid email address in order to be able to respond to the online surveys.

You will be removed from the Panel if you choose to leave the Society, otherwise membership will continue until you advise us to remove your name. You can request to be removed from the Panel at any time by completing the deregister form.

How the Panel will work

You will be invited by email to take part in research activities that are happening throughout the year. The invitation will normally be to complete an online survey, however from time to time if you agree you may be invited to take part in other research e.g. telephone, face to face. You won’t necessarily be invited to take part in every research activity as it depends on the relevance of the research to you. You won’t be contacted more than once a month to take part in research, and participation is voluntary so you can choose to take part or not.

Your personal data

By agreeing to join the Customer Panel you agree that the West Brom can use the results of research exercises to feed into the development of products and services, and to inform decision making. Your co-operation on the Panel is entirely voluntary. Any information you provide about yourself will be used for the purposes of research only, and not for sales and marketing. Your personal details and responses will be stored securely by the West Brom. Your responses will never be reported with anything that could identify you without your prior consent. The Panel will be operated in accordance with the Market Research Society Code of Conduct.

Personal data and any information provided during research will be processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations. You can find full details on how we process your personal data at www.westbrom.co.uk/privacy-notice.

You can request to be removed from the Panel at any time by completing the deregister form.
