Customer Panel terms and conditions

The Customer Panel

The Panel consists of a cross section of customers who agree on a voluntary basis to provide feedback about the West Brom’s products and services.

Qualifying Criteria

To join the Panel you must be a current West Brom savings or mortgage customer and be aged 16 or over. You’ll need a valid email address to take part in our online surveys.

If you choose to leave the Society, you will be removed from the Panel. Otherwise, your membership will continue until you ask us to remove your name. You can request to be removed from the Panel at any time by completing the deregister form.

How the Panel will work

You’ll be invited by email to take part in research activities throughout the year. Most invitations will be to complete an online survey, although from time to time you may be invited to take part in other types of research, such as telephone or face to face sessions. You won’t be invited to every activity, as this depends on how relevant the research is to you.

You will not be contacted more than once a month, and participation is voluntary, so you can choose whether or not to take part.

Your personal data

By joining the Customer Panel, you agree that the West Brom can use the results of research activities to support the development of products and services and to inform decision-making.

Any information you provide will be used solely for research purposes and will not be used for sales and marketing.

Your personal details and responses will be stored securely by the West Brom, and your feedback will never be reported in a way that could identify you without your prior consent.

The Panel operates in line with the Market Research Society Code of Conduct.

Personal data and any information provided during research will be processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations. Full details on how we process your personal data can be found here.
