What supporting documents will I need to apply for a mortgage?

You will be advised during the application process which documents we'll need to see as proof of your income and outgoings. These are likely to include the following:

  • Up to 3 months' payslips (Employed)
  • Latest P60 (Employed)
  • Proof of deposit (Purchase only)

Self-employed applicants may require all or a combination of the following:

  • Last 2 years' full accounts
  • Last 2 years' Tax Assessments (SA302)
  • Last 2 years' Tax Year Overview
  • Last 3 months' business bank statements

Additional information we may also require:

  • Latest full month's bank statements showing salary credits, utility bills, mortgage payments and day to day expenditure
  • Most recent mortgage statement
  • Identification
  • Evidence of repayment vehicle for any element of interest only
