Enhanced maternity and adoption pay - Following a qualifying period, maternity and adoption pay is paid at an enhanced rate, provided you return to work for at least 6 months following your leave.
Childcare vouchers - In conjunction with Computershare, the Society offers childcare vouchers to parents, providing a tax and National Insurance contribution saving to the employee. These can be used at one of Computershare’s countrywide purpose built day nurseries, or as payment for other registered childminders, nannies, nurseries etc.
Discounted travel cards and parking - West Midlands Travel and Centro cards, covering bus, tram and rail travel in a wide range of geographical areas are available to employees at a discounted rate. For those working at head office and who travel by car, the Society also offers interest free loans to pay for an annual parking permit (saving a significant amount compared to paying daily) over 12 monthly installments.
West Brom Staff Car Scheme - Subject to eligibility, employees can lease a new car for 24–36 months at a fixed monthly cost, which can work out significantly lower than if you’d funded the vehicle yourself. Apart from fuel, the West Brom Staff Car Scheme provides for everything.
