Volunteers from Black Country building society the West Brom have been visiting local hospitals to help brighten up the wards ready for Christmas.
Teams first trimmed the trees and trailed the tinsel at Birmingham Children's Hospital, before heading to Sandwell General Hospital to add a touch of sparkle to both the children's ward and children's outpatients area.
Staff from Society branches including Cape Hill, Stone Cross, Walsall, Perry Barr and Washwood Heath were joined by colleagues based at the West Brom's head office at Providence Place in West Bromwich to carry out the transformations.
Among the participants was Jazz Uppal, who said: “It's important for the Society to offer support to the local community and volunteering is always really rewarding to take part in.
“This is especially the case at Christmas, where having to spend time in hospital is never easy for patients or their families.
“By bringing some festive cheer to the wards and communal spaces we hope it will make the experience a bit more bearable.”
