The West Brom notches up its one year anniversary since moving to new, purpose-built headquarters

Leading regional building society the West Brom has celebrated a milestone after reaching the first anniversary since it moved into its iconic new headquarters.

Around 550 building society colleagues made the move last April into the landmark five-storey premises at Providence Place, just off the A41 island in West Bromwich town centre.

The state-of-the-art building has been popular with staff during its first 12 months, while around 100 customers were also given a glimpse inside last autumn when a feedback event was hosted at the new HQ, with renowned fundraiser Jane Sutton the guest speaker.

Jacqui Randle, the West Brom’s HR Director, said: “Moving our head office from West Bromwich High Street, which had been the Society’s home for nearly 40 years, was a huge undertaking and took years of planning.

“It was a very significant moment in our history when we successfully completed the relocation to Providence Place.

“Our people are working in modern, cleverly designed and well-equipped premises which can only support our future development and leave us better placed to help our customers.”
