What is an ISA?

An ISA – or Individual Savings Account – is a tax-efficient savings account available to all UK residents over the age of 16. As your interest is tax-free, this means you get to keep everything that you have invested and earned.

There are two different types of ISAs - Cash ISAs and Stocks and Shares ISAs. For more information, why not view our handy guide entitled ‘Making the most of your ISA'.
